I'm a very practical kind of gal. In my previous life I was a farmers wife so I know how to use a hammer, screw driver, pliers, sort the fuse, find the leak, etc.
I know how important it is to go away and enjoy your holiday, knowing you have someone capable and trustworthy looking after your valuable property (that's me of course).
I have a Police Check report I am happy to forward to you if you wish.

My heart is totally in love with my feline friends so I choose to look after them exclusively (sorry dog owners). I have always had cats in my life and love how they each have their own unique, and let's be honest; sometimes demanding, personalities...
But I adore them all and love nothing more than the challenge of getting a 'non-knee' cat to succumb to my lap (much to their parents disgust).

Hi, I'm Paula Johnson, your professional home and pet sitter!
I'm a bit of a reptile in that I need warmth and sunshine to be truly happy...actually, I'd make a purrrfect cat (maybe in my next life)!
I am location independent, meaning I take my work with me wherever I go. I have two businesses that keep me occupied:

I am a holistic bodyworker, providing healing treatments through relaxation massage, Bowen therapy and Bodhypnosis.
I am also a published author, ex-blogger (don't have time these days) and I'm easily led astray with good coffee, dark chocolate and red wine.
I LOVE TRAVEL and consider Bali my second home. It's where my soul feels most at peace...has done since 2010 when I first went there. I travel there every year to visit my Bali family and friends.
I am most fulfilled when helping others, I ADORE CATS (no surprise there) and I dabble in photography...
I have no fixed abode now. Home and pet sitting fuels my love of exploring new places and the opportunity to stay in wonderful homes and look after the most gorgeous feline friends - bliss!

Paula looked after our two ragdoll baby's while we were away over the Christmas period. She was amazing and we came home to a clean home, happy plants and most importantly happy cats. We had piece of mind straight away after meeting her and knew we could rely on her to take car of our home and fur baby's. Paula loves cats and my cat loves her! Paula looked after my house in Tauranga and my 16 year old blind cat Bennie while I was lucky enough to spend a month in Rarotonga in between lockdowns. She happily accommodated all my whims and foibles such as Bennie being a bedmate, she kept him safe from getting lost and generally made sure he maintained his status as King of the House. Paula sent me photos and kept me updated and I came home to a clean, tidy house and a happy contented cat. I've since had Paula housesit for me again and I can absolutely recommend her as the perfect housesitter for you home and cats!

Well what can I say...Paula was outstanding! Our cats just loved ❤️ her (more than us now). They were pampered and best of all they were happy. We had regular photos which made our heart melt. We totally relaxed on our holiday as we new they were well cared for. AND I came back to a lovely clean home!

Paula thank you for housesitting and looking after Scruffy. He can be a bit demanding, requiring a warm lap, lots of cuddles, someone to keep his food bowls topped up and his heat pump put on for him at night of course. It was reassuring knowing Paula was looking after him.
